January Beauty Diary

This month I like to share the wonderful goodness of essential oil.

For a start, I do not really like essential oil as the word “oil” gives me a feeling of oily and sticky after use or even develop pimples! However after learning and trying out, I just fall in love with it. It such an awesome products that God had created, for people like me who love to use natural remedy (do not like to take panadol!).

I start off with Eucalyptus, it helps for my son who has sinus, I applied it on his back and front of his body, just a drop of it  and he can sleep well. I also use it in the diffuser while he is sleeping. Peppermint is also good for headaches which i had tried.  Now I adding rose essential oil into my eye cream to lift up and brighten my eyes area. I will share more for getting rid of dark circle in the coming months. Back to the topic that I sharing in January is how to get rid of dandruff with essential oil.

How Do You Use Essential Oil to Get Rid of Dandruff?

For starters, some essential oils can be applied directly to the scalp. However, if you have sensitive scalps, you might want to dilute the essential oil with a carrier oil like coconut or jojoba. 3 drops essential oil to 2 tablespoons of carrier oil would work for most people. Massage the blend onto your scalp and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse it off. You can start off with 2 times a week to wash your hair with this method. As individual reacts differently so observe the changes.

Besides that, you can add a few drops of the oil into your shampoo or conditioner and massage it into your scalp, too. Essential oil that suggested are:
